Troubleshooting & FAQs
Understand the software, its names, and the version you are using before troubleshooting a task.
Pre-release introduction. Public downloads are not available here yet. Assistant naming is planned; other capabilities depend on the version you obtain.
What does AIS mean? Autonomous Intelligence System: the software and a general term for an installation. SwanAutonoma is its developer and offers separately scoped services. You operate the software on infrastructure you control; contacting Swan is not a requirement for ordinary self-directed use.
Can I name my assistant? Owner-chosen names are planned. For example, ‘I call my AIS Rowan’ illustrates the intended distinction using a fictional name; it is not a screenshot or an instruction for a released setting. Renaming an assistant will not change its software, model, permissions, or provider.
What can I obtain today? This website is a pre-release introduction and its code/download page remains a placeholder. Capabilities described here must be checked against the specific source or release you obtain. Optional apps are selected separately, and peer exchange requires support in the participating releases.
Distinguish model response, permitted capability, service readiness, and operation outcome. Ask what failed and inspect the bounded result available to your current access. A denied action needs the relevant access correction; repeatedly submitting it does not grant authority.
For exchange problems, check the selected contact, verified route, supported message type, and returned delivery evidence. For background work, inspect the run rather than assuming it happened.
When seeking help, include the software version, a minimal reproduction, and sanitized error information. Keep credentials and private records out of the initial inquiry. Optional hands-on support is a separately scoped service.
