The Charter
Your private life should not be the price of useful intelligence.
Pre-release introduction. Public downloads are not available here yet. Assistant naming is planned; other capabilities depend on the version you obtain.
Technology promised to expand our lives. Too often the bargain asks us to surrender the intimate texture of those lives in return: our questions, our habits, our unfinished thoughts. Attention becomes inventory. Dependence becomes a business advantage. We are asked to call that progress.
We are peasants renting modernity when the tools we depend on can be withdrawn, our own work held behind conditions we cannot change, and our private lives made legible to powers we cannot inspect. We should expect better. Wanting useful intelligence without surrendering ourselves is a reasonable demand.
You deserve room to think before you speak, to explore without performing, and to change your mind without building someone else's permanent profile of who you are. Privacy protects the life from which invention, courage, and independent judgment grow.
We believe people should be able to understand the technology they rely on, operate it under their own custody, decide what it may do, and choose what they disclose. Cooperation should grow from deliberate trust. It should leave each participant with a life and intelligence of their own.
The promise is deeply human: more time with people we love, more capacity for difficult questions, more freedom to create, and more of life's pleasures within reach. Intelligence earns its place through the life it helps us lead.
SwanAutonoma builds source-available, locally operated intelligence as our contribution. Noncommercial use is free under the published license. Paid commercial rights and optional services fund independent development. Fair exchange can sustain useful technology while respecting the people who depend on it.
Demand tools you can understand. Keep a private space. Choose the connections that serve you. Build, question, and explore with confidence in your right to direct your own life.
Own your intelligence, own your future.
