A local core coordinates models, stored information, apps, and the devices you use to reach it.

Pre-release introduction. Public downloads are not available here yet. Assistant naming is planned; other capabilities depend on the version you obtain.

The core maintains the installation's identity, permissions, and durable context. Model services supply inference; apps provide specific capabilities; the interface presents conversations, information, and actions on your devices.

Keeping these responsibilities distinct lets you inspect where information is held and which component may act. A model's answer is not itself permission to execute an operation. Access and action checks still apply at the responsible service.
