Keep relevant preferences and context so you do not have to explain the same background each time. Ask what is maintained, correct an inaccurate detail, and use the owning product controls when you want information changed or removed.

Conversation history, personal preferences, project notes, and operating records serve different purposes. Removing one does not necessarily remove every related record. Use the product guide to understand each record's scope and lifecycle.
